Right now, Prime members can get the Echo Show 5 for half-off its regular price. That’s phenomenal savings and a very cool device.

There are more amazing Amazon device deals popping up before the event on October 13-14, the most popular of which being the aforementioned 3rd Gen Echo Dot being available for $39.98. It with an extra Echo Dot at no additional cost.

Besides that, you can currently find a few impressive Echo 4th Gen smart bundles, including the likes of Philips smart bulbs, smart plugs, and everything else that you could consider smart. You can also preorder two of the new Echo or Echo Dot and receive a $20 discount on your purchase. If you’re interested in some other early deals, head on over to find out the best electronics deals we expect from Amazon Prime Day, and what we expect overall Prime Day 2020.

Best Amazon Device Deals to Expect on Prime Day

Echo Dot deals, 3rd, and 4th gen are confirmed already. Other than that, you can expect the majority of Amazon devices to go on sale during the 48-hours of Prime Day. This would include smart speakers, Kindle e-readers, Fire Tablets, Fire Sticks, and everything else Fire.

You should also keep an eye out for some cheap bundles combining some of these devices, as there is a decent amount of money to be saved by quickly having just one purchase of a 4K Fire TV Stick, Echo Dot, and Amazon Smart Plug. For example, the 2020 Echo Dot can currently be preorder alongside an Amazon smart plug for just $59.99. This also applies to the slightly more expensive and aptly named, Echo Dot with Clock.

What’s the Difference Between the 3rd and 4th Gen Amazon Echo Devices?

The biggest change you can see in the Echo and Echo Dot is the shape. The 4th generation of Amazon Echo smart speakers are now very spherically shaped devices, with both the Echo and Echo Dot sharing almost identical design choices, contrasting the previous-gen where the standard Echo looked like a tall speaker, while the Dot looked like, well a small dot speaker.

Another change is the additional audio quality. 3rd generation Echo already had decent audio, boasting Dolby powered speakers that could utilize 360-degree sound. The 2020 Echo will also be using Dolby audio, but with a few additional works along the way. There is a 3-inch neodymium woofer included that will upward fire, alongside two separate 0.6-inch tweeters to boost the sound. Much like the Echo Studio, the all-new Echo can sense the acoustics in a space, and tune the audio playback to fit perfectly.

Try not to get the new Echo and Echo Dot confused, considering they basically look the same. The all-new Echo will cost $99.99, while the Echo Dot is $49.99. Also remember that the 3rd gen models will likely be going on sale during Prime Day and Black Friday, but they are the old models, so stay aware before you make a purchase.
