Netflix Finally Has a Merch Shop | IGN

If you’ve been wondering where you can get your hands on some sweet Netflix-related merch, rejoice! The Netflix store has officially opened.

Despite what you might expect, the store doesn’t sell merch branded with the Netflix logo, instead opting for merchandise inspired by the streaming giant’s range of anime shows.

The current line includes clothing, accessories, and even a collectable miniature armour bust inspired by the Netflix original anime Yasuke.

Netflix has collaborated with a wide range of designers and fashion brands worldwide to create the merchandise, including Hypland, Japanese design company BEAMS, and Nathalie Nguyen.

Set up by Jordan Bentley at age 13, Hypland combines anime style with streetwear and seems like a perfect fit for the hit Netflix anime Yasuke.

If you’re after something a little bit different, then perhaps check out Nathalie Nguyen’s 3D clock of Haruta from Yasuke, or a Kendama of the robot E92 from the show Eden. Items are available for pre-order and will be shipped later this year. If you’re interested in learning more about the design process for the merchandise, each page has a section about the designers and their approach to creating their designs.

The Netflix store is mainly focused around Netflix’s anime brands, so if you have any anime fans in your life that could do with a gift (or even, y’know, yourself, we won’t judge), then perhaps it’s worth checking out. Netflix has seen huge success with their anime series, so it’s no surprise that they’d be looking to get some anime related merch out the door.
